I had the opportunity and pleasure to be a part of the December 2006 Clay Carnival at Las Vegas this year. This is the first clay event that I have been to and I have to say that it exceeded all of my expectations.
The instructors, Donna Kato, Jacqueline Lee, Kim Cavender, Judy Belcher, Leslie Blackford, Sue Kelsey, Cathy Johnston and Tony Aquino, not only shared their talent and knowledge of polymer clay with us, they created the warmest atmosphere during the whole three days we were there.
Meeting other clayers, some of whom I had the pleasure of meeting online before meeting in real life, was a highlight of the weekend. After the first 3 hour class I felt as if I had known everyone in my classroom for a long time. There is a lot of sharing and caring, warmth and fellowship. This is an experience I won't forget.
Below are pictures of the instructors and the project I made in their class.
